Colleen Hoover Series

It’s no secret that Colleen Hoover is one of my favorite authors. I read Slammed early on, way before I was blogging and since then, I have fallen in love with each one of her novels. Below are the reading orders for each of her series… click on the images to purchase or learn more about each book.

Slammed Series

This is a story filled with sadness, heart and intimacy. It takes us on a journey that is so very real, but at the same time, feels just a little bit magical with the music and the poetry. It’s about two people finding hope and joy in each other as they navigate life through the not-so-easy road they’ve had to traverse.

Hopeless Series

hopeless losing hope cover finding cinderella

A beautiful, powerful story of heart-wrenching tragedy, enduring hope and the kind of love that awakens one’s spirit. Finding Cinderella, is a spin-off of key characters from the first two books, and it’s a witty, brilliant novella that blew me away with what it was able to accomplish in about 100 pages.

  1. Hopeless
  2. The Best First Kiss (bonus scene in Holder’s POV)
  3. Losing Hope (My review)
  4. Finding Cinderella (My review)
Maybe Someday

maybe someday

A standalone story steeped in emotion, desire, music and magic. In addition, Colleen Hoover has partnered with an amazing artist, Griffin Peterson, to build a soundtrack that accompanies the book, further enriching the experience. Check out an article I wrote all about the project on a special feature on USA Today’s HEA blog.

At twenty-two years old, Sydney has a great life: She’s in college, working a steady job, in love with her wonderful boyfriend, Hunter, and rooming with her best friend, Tori. But everything changes when she discovers Hunter’s cheating on her–and she is left trying to decide what to do next.

Sydney becomes captivated by Ridge, her mysterious neighbor. She can’t take her eyes off him or stop listening to the passionate way he plays his guitar every evening out on his balcony. And there’s something about Sydney that Ridge can’t ignore, either. When their inevitable encounter happens, they soon find themselves needing each other in more ways than one…

Ugly Love

ugly love_cover_FINAL

A gut-wrenching and emotional journey filled with desire that burns and secrets that consume. Expect lots of sexiness and steam.

When Tate Collins meets airline pilot Miles Archer, she doesn’t think it’s love at first sight. They wouldn’t even go so far as to consider themselves friends. The only thing Tate and Miles have in common is an undeniable mutual attraction. Once their desires are out in the open, they realize they have the perfect set-up. He doesn’t want love, she doesn’t have time for love, so that just leaves the sex. Their arrangement could be surprisingly seamless, as long as Tate can stick to the only two rules Miles has for her.

Never ask about the past.
Don’t expect a future.

They think they can handle it, but realize almost immediately they can’t handle it at all.

Hearts get infiltrated.
Promises get broken.
Rules get shattered.
Love gets ugly.

It Ends With Us

This is Colleen Hoover like you’ve never seen her. A grittier, more complicated story that delivers an emotional gut punch, while still giving us a romance difficult to forget. The book is out August 2nd.

Sometimes it is the one who loves you who hurts you the most.

Lily hasn’t always had it easy, but that’s never stopped her from working hard for the life she wants. She’s come a long way from the small town in Maine where she grew up—she graduated from college, moved to Boston, and started her own business. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon named Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily’s life suddenly seems almost too good to be true.

Ryle is assertive, stubborn, maybe even a little arrogant. He’s also sensitive, brilliant, and has a total soft spot for Lily. And the way he looks in scrubs certainly doesn’t hurt. Lily can’t get him out of her head. But Ryle’s complete aversion to relationships is disturbing. Even as Lily finds herself becoming the exception to his “no dating” rule, she can’t help but wonder what made him that way in the first place.

As questions about her new relationship overwhelm her, so do thoughts of Atlas Corrigan—her first love and a link to the past she left behind. He was her kindred spirit, her protector. When Atlas suddenly reappears, everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

With this bold and deeply personal novel, Colleen Hoover delivers a heart-wrenching story that breaks exciting new ground for her as a writer. Combining a captivating romance with a cast of all-too-human characters, It Ends With Us is an unforgettable tale of love that comes at the ultimate price.
