VBB Weekly – 12.23.2013

My family and I will be celebrating the Christmas holiday this week and as I think about everything I’m thankful for, I just wanted to take a moment to say how thankful I am for all your continued support. My blog has grown slowly and steadily and I am having the time of my life building relationships, reading books and discussing them with people that never tire about talking about the stories that bring us to tears and the characters that make us swoon. Whether you are celebrating something this week or not, I just wanted to say THANK YOU! For those of you celebrating the holidays with friends or family, I wish you much love and happiness… and of course, lots of good reading! ♥

• Sempre Redemption (#2, Forever) by J.M. Darhower – The thrilling and sexy follow-up to Sempre (currently on sale for $1.99).
• Breaking Bedrock – Follow-up novel to Bedrock.
• Under Different Stars by Amy A. Bartol – An incredible urban fantasy/dystopian novel. One of my favorite reads this year! My review.
• Ready To Fall (#2, Geoducks) by Daisy Prescott – Spin-off of Geoducks Are For Lovers – My review.
• Bloodlines (#2, Conversion) by S.C. Stephens – The sequel to the paranormal romance, Conversion.
• The Redhead Plays Her Hand (#3, Redhead) by Alice Clayton – This is the third and final book in the Redhead series, which is a bit heavier than its predecessors, with a more pain and heartfelt moments as Jack and Grace reach for their happily ever after.
• Misbehaving (#6, Sea Breeze) by Abbi Glines – The sixth book in the Sea Breeze series, but this one can be read as a standalone.
• Forever & Always and After Forever by Jasinda Wilder – These are some incredibly emotional books. They’re intense and beautifully written. Saving Forever, the third book, will be out February 14th. See my reviews: Forever & Always | After Forever.
• What’s Left of Me by Amanda Maxyln – An emotional standalone book that’s receiving high marks to date.
• Pieces For You (#2, Only For You) by Genna Rulon – This is a spin-off novel to Only For You, which was a witty, suspenseful romance. My review of Only For You.
• Torn From You by Nashoda Rose – Intense and not for the faint of heart. This book is getting a lot of buzz right now.
• Always You by Missy Johnson – A new student/teacher romance, enter the giveaway to win 1 of 2 ebooks!
• Believe (novella) by Kelly Elliott – This is a novella in the Wanted series. This is from Brad and Amanda’s point of view and gives us a little glimpse into their world.

Must Reads of the Week

Forever & Always and After Forever  are the newest books from Jasinda Wilder and let me tell you, I think they’re phenomenal. Don’t expect hearts and rainbows… these books are defined by pain, heartache, sadness and turmoil, but the writing is superb and the emotion it evokes is significant. Grab a bottle of wine, some tissue and lose yourself in this turbulent story.
